Allen Haolun Wang
Came from Taiwan when I was 14. After High School, I entered combat in tanks during Operation Iraqi Freedom where many of my friends made the ultimate sacrifice. After surviving the battlefields, I continued my public service in two Police Departments, the NYPD and Carlsbad PD in CA. After two decades of public service, I am currently working in the private sector in security management consulting after earning a graduate degree in Criminal Justice.
But a greater duty calls. We must clean up the mess years of poor public policies have weakened the very fabric of NYC. As a concerned father of an eight-year-old boy, and to further honor the memory of my fallen comrades, my mission now is to get back to public service by asking for your support. Vote for me to serve as a member of your NYC Council, District 20 which covers Flushing, Murray Hill, Fresh Meadows, Mitchell-Linden, and Queensboro Hill. Together we will make a difference for our families!
Our Mission
Our initiatives aim mainly to enhance public safety in the Greater Flushing Area by applying strategic measures and fostering robust partnerships within the community. We are dedicated to tackling migrant, and criminal issues through cooperation from the community and law enforcement agencies, and the judicious use of taxpayer funds. Furthermore, we strongly support the cessation of the growth of migrant shelters, advocating instead for sustainable, long-term solutions that serve both individuals and the broader community. Our objective is to establish a safer and more equitable environment for all residents of the Greater Flushing Area. By working together closely, we can and will forge a stronger and more secure future for Flushing.
